Mirela Vilcan Krueger

Mirela Vilcan Krueger has extensive experience in quality control and food safety. Mirela currently holds the role of Director of Quality at Cohere Beauty, a position they have held since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Food Safety Professional at AIB International, Inc from August 2016 to January 2022. Mirela also served as the Director of Corporate Quality Assurance at James Skinner Baking Company from August 2013 to June 2016, and as the Director of Quality Control/SQF and QC Manager/HACCP Coordinator at James Skinner Baking from January 2013 to August 2013 and from June 2007 to December 2012, respectively. Mirela gained experience in QA, production, and R&D at Cargill from February 2006 to June 2007. Before that, Mirela worked as a Public Relations Coordinator at Gee Dee's SA from June 2003 to November 2004 and as a Plant Operations Manager at Napolact, Romania from August 2001 to September 2002.

Mirela Vilcan Krueger has a diverse education history. Mirela obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Leadership from Bellevue University in 2013. Prior to that, they pursued specialized post-university studies in Food Quality Management Studies and Natural Products at the Mediterranian Agronomic Institute of Chania, Crete, Greece from 2002 to 2003. Mirela also holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Food Quality Management from the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, Cluj-Napoca, Romania, which they completed in 2002. Their educational journey began with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Dairy Science from the University of Food Technology and Food Products Quality Control, Sibiu, Romania, which they completed in 2001. In addition to their formal education, Mirela has also obtained various certifications, including Certified Pandemic Auditor from AIB International, Inc in 2020, SQF Lead Auditor from the SQF Institute in 2019, and Advanced HACCP - Principles and Implementation Methods from AGET Global Consulting, LLC in 2016, among others.
