George Petrov

George Petrov is the current CEO at Coherent Lab, and was previously the Technical Director at Masthead Studios from December 2005 to August 2012. George was responsible for setting Masthead Studios' technology strategy and defining high-level MMO engine architecture. George also staffed and managed the R&D division, and defined the software development processes used by the company. George led the team that released Earthrise Massively Multiplayer Online Game in February 2011, and is currently working on the next version of the engine to be used with Earthrise | First Impact MMO.

Before joining Masthead Studios, George was the CTO at Netage Solutions from January 1999 to December 2006. At Netage Solutions, George built and managed the R&D division, and was responsible for the company's technology and process. George led the team that released several versions of Dynamo solution during their time at the company.

George started their career as a Developer at Orbitel from January 1998 to December 1999, where they were responsible for architecture and development of hit.bg - a web portal and hosting system for small businesses. George then moved on to Dir.bg as a Developer from January 1998 to December 1999, before taking on the role of Editor at TopTeam from January 1996 to December 1998.

George Petrov's educational career includes a degree in civil engineering from the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering, and Geodesy, as well as a degree in computer science from the Technology School Electronic Systems (TUES), associated with Technical University-Sofia.
