Senior Verification Engineer at Coherent Logix

David Turner has worked in the technology industry since 1981. David began their career at IBM as a Staff Hardware Engineer in the Federal Systems Division, where they designed and developed hardware, software, technical documentation, and presentations for the NASA Ground Based Mission Control System Program, Space Shuttle Program, and IBM Space Station Proposal. David then moved to Compaq in 1989 as a Senior Systems Engineer and Project Lead, leading and developing Windows graphics software projects and graphic chip verification projects for Compaq desktop products. In 1997, they joined Accelerix Inc. as Manager of Software Development, and was later acquired by Mosaid in 1999, where they were promoted to Manager of the Verification Group. In 2001, they moved to LayerN Networks as a Senior Verification Engineer, and in 2004 they joined ServerEngines as a Senior Verification Engineer. In 2010, they joined Emulex as a Principal Verification Engineer, developing TP/IP network test software, infrastructure, and qualification testing, needed for successfully bringing multiple Converged Network ASICs to market with numerous customers. In 2013, they joined Cadence as a Member of Consulting Staff, and also Coherent Logix, Inc. as a Senior Verification Engineer, where they created UVM-based testbench for new memory subsystem and multi-core DSP ASIC highlighting areas in early design for functional and performance improvements. David also built testbench infrastructure for leading edge HyperX multi-core chip providing connectivity between TCP-based remote access software development tools and hardware simulation environment.

David Turner attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1978 to 1981, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree with a focus in Computer Engineering and Computer Science.
