Albert Ooi

Albert Ooi has extensive work experience in senior leadership positions in global operations. Albert served as the Senior Vice President of Global Operations at Coherent, Inc starting in 2006. Prior to that, they worked as the Executive Vice President of Global Operations at Celerity from 2000 to 2005. Albert also served as the VP of Manufacturing at 3Com from 1997 to 2000, where they were responsible for the Santa Clara Manufacturing Plant for the Ethernet Division.

Albert Ooi obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Organic Chemistry from Universiti Malaya, a notable university in Malaysia, where they studied from 1974 to 1978. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business/Managerial Economics from the National University of Singapore, studying from 1986 to 1989.
