Magnus Bengtsson

Magnus Bengtsson has a diverse work experience in the laser industry. Magnus started their career at Spectra-Physics in 1998, serving as a Product Specialist and later a Product Manager. Magnus then became a Field Sales Engineer before leaving the company in 2006.

In 2007, Bengtsson joined Newport Corp. as a Senior Manager in North America PPT Sales. After two years, they moved on to Newport Corporation as the Director of North America PPT Sales. Magnus worked in this role until 2010.

From 2010 to 2013, Bengtsson worked at Coherent Inc. as the Director of Strategic Marketing. Magnus then became the Vice President of Strategic Marketing until 2020. Currently, they serve as the Senior Vice President, Industrial Lasers at Coherent Inc.

Magnus Bengtsson earned a Master of Science degree in Engineering Physics from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, completing their studies from 1991 to 1996.
