Lindsey Thurman Castillano has a diverse work experience beginning in 2006 as an R&D Intern at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Lindsey Thurman conducted studies involving PCR and gel electrophoresis methods and worked on various aspects of the project, including systems engineering and fluid mechanics.

In 2007, Lindsey served as an Engineering Aide at Cal Poly State University Engineering Services, where they completed projects in HVAC building commissioning and gained extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and power/facilities management. Lindsey Thurman also worked as a Field Engineer Co-op at Nalco, testing and maintaining water chemistry in mechanical facilities equipment.

Lindsey joined Genentech in 2011 and held several positions over the years. As a Quality Engineering & Validation Intern, they gained experience with GMP validation for commercial manufacturing equipment and processes. Lindsey Thurman later served as an Engineer, where they implemented process improvements and led a cross-functional team to increase product yield and reduce inspection defects. Lindsey then became a Senior Supervisor, leading a team of bulk processing technicians. Lindsey Thurman eventually advanced to Senior Manager, overseeing drug product commercial operations, developing strategies, implementing lean principles, and managing cost centers.

Currently, Lindsey is the Associate Director of Drug Product Manufacturing at Coherus BioSciences, where they are responsible for overseeing drug product manufacturing.

Throughout their career, Lindsey has displayed strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills while driving operational efficiencies and ensuring quality standards.

Lindsey Thurman Castillano holds a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Lindsey Thurman further pursued their education at the same university and obtained a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering.
