Nicholas Kum

Nicholas Kum is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in test engineering and management. Currently serving as the Manager of Manufacturing Test Engineering at Cohesity since July 2018, Nicholas has previously held roles at Tintri by DDN as a Senior Member of Technical Staff and Manufacturing Test Developer, where innovative test frameworks were architected. Earlier experiences include a Test Engineer position at ZeroChaos Onsite @ NetApp, focusing on data extraction and analysis for process improvements, and a long tenure at IBM as a Staff Test Engineer, creating automated test cases. Nicholas began a career in journalism as a Sports News Intern at KRON Channel 4 and gained foundational QA experience at Praja Inc. Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a Minor in Computer Science from UC San Diego.
