Dwight Koop has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Dwight started their career at the CBOE where they learned about the challenges faced by start-ups in the securities industry. Dwight then moved on to The Swiss Bank Corporation (O'Connor Associates) where they held various roles and responsibilities, including overseeing infrastructure architecture, system engineering, network engineering-operations, technical security, and global data center operations for the Trading and Markets Divisions.
Dwight also worked at Bedouin Inc. as the Vice President before it was acquired by Borland Software. At Borland Software, they served as the VP and played a crucial role in the successful integration of Bedouin's ALM service with the Starbase product line.
In 2006, Dwight joined CohesiveFT as the CFO-COO, and later became the CFO at Cohesive Networks in 2015. Their role involved providing cloud-native security and network software products to enterprise customers, with a focus on application layer security and connectivity.
Additionally, Dwight has been actively involved in organizations such as InfraGard National Members Alliance, where they served as the retired Treasurer, and InfraGard Chicago Members Alliance, where they held the positions of Member and Treasurer. Dwight was also a founding volunteer sponsor of CloudCamp and played an instrumental role in organizing Chicago CloudCamp and London CloudCamp.
Furthermore, Dwight has been a member of the USSS Chicago CFCT - Cyber Fraud Task Force, which aims to prevent and investigate attacks on the nation's financial and critical infrastructures.

Dwight Koop received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business from the University of Colorado Boulder, where they studied from 1966 to 1971. Dwight then pursued a Master's degree (MM) in Finance with a focus on Financial Markets at Northwestern University from 1971 to 1972. Additionally, in June 2009, they obtained a certification as a Certified Application Security Specialist from the Certified Application Security Institute.
