Gavin Barbier

Gavin Barbier is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in business development and consulting, particularly within the Maximo software domain. Currently serving as a Senior Business Development Executive for Africa at Cohesive since November 2022, Gavin previously held the position of Business Unit Manager for Maximo at Vetasi Limited from February 2012 to November 2023, overseeing various responsibilities such as help desk management, enhancements, training, and client licensing reviews. With an extensive background in project management as a Senior Project Manager and Business Consultant at Powertech IST, and earlier roles at MST and Pragma Holdings, Gavin has developed a strong foundation in Maximo implementations and consulting, starting as a Maximo training consultant and progressing from a Fitter and Turner at Rotek Engineering.
