Andy Thomis is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the defence and technology sectors. Since May 2009, Andy has served as Chief Executive of Cohort plc, a technology group focused on defence and security. Previously, Andy held the position of Managing Director at MASS Consultants Ltd, leading a defence electronics and information systems business. Andy's career at Cohort plc began in September 2005 as Corporate Development Director, followed by a role as Finance Director, where Andy successfully led the AIM Admission process. Prior to joining Cohort, Andy was Corporate Development Director at Alvis plc and worked as a Senior Consultant at Capita Management Consultancy. Andy’s early career includes significant roles at the Ministry of Defence, where project management and technical advisory functions were key contributions. Andy holds an M.Eng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with Management Science from Imperial College London.
