Jörg Benkel

Jörg Benkel has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Jörg began their career in the German Federal Armed Forces as an Officer in the Sanitary Service, where they served as a Trainer in Basic Training. Jörg also worked as a Rescue Paramedic for Malteser. Following this, they joined Randstad as a Student Assistant.

In 2002, they transitioned to Trainingszentrum für Erste Hilfe und Notfallmedizin as a First Aid Instructor, a role they held for 14 years. In 2004, they joined Cohu, Inc., a global technology company, where they held various leadership positions in quality management, processes, and documentation. Jörg was responsible for overseeing quality departments at development sites across multiple countries and ensuring compliance with quality management systems.

Throughout their career at Cohu, Inc., Jörg Benkel also took on additional responsibilities, such as serving as a Data Protection Officer and Fire Protection Officer. Jörg'sexpertise in quality management and data protection was instrumental in the company's success. In 2019, they became the Manager of Processes and Quality for the Global Technical Solutions division.

Jörg Benkel's extensive experience in quality management, training, and leadership makes him a valuable asset in any organization.

Jörg Benkel obtained an Abitur degree from Finsterwalder-Gymnasium Rosenheim in 2000. Jörg then pursued a Diplom-Betriebswirt (FH) in Betriebswirtschaftslehre from Rosenheim Technical University of Applied Sciences from 2001 to 2005. In 2007, Jörg completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Internationales Management from Euro-FH Europäische Fernhochschule Hamburg. Jörg also acquired various certifications in quality management, environmental management, TQM coaching, and data protection from TÜV Süd Akademie in the years 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2023.
