Kevin Collins has extensive experience in the forestry sector, having worked at Coillte since 1989 in various leadership roles, including Risk Systems Manager, Manager of Grant Administration and Financial Partnerships, IT Systems Manager, and Head of IT. Prior to joining Coillte, Kevin served as an Analyst at the Forest Service within the Department of Agriculture from January 1984 to 1989. Educationally, Kevin holds a Master's of Agricultural Science in Forestry and a Bachelor's of Agricultural Science in Forestry, both from University College Dublin, completed between 1983 and 1987 and 1979 and 1983, respectively.

This is primarily forested land and makes Coillte Ireland's largest forest manager and largest provider of outdoor recreation.
