Vijay S. has extensive experience in risk management, compliance, and security.

Vijay currently works at Coin Metrics as a Risk Management and Compliance professional, where they provide financial intelligence and solutions to institutions dealing with cryptoassets.

Prior to their current role, Vijay was the Head of Compliance at Truework, where they revitalized the compliance and security program, leading to the successful passing of SOC2 Type2 and ISO 27001 audits.

At UiPath, Vijay served as the Senior Product Manager, focusing on standards, compliance, and certifications. Vijay led projects to obtain ISO 27001 certification and SOC2 Type1 & Type2 assessments, while also building and prioritizing the compliance program for UiPath's product suite.

Before UiPath, Vijay was the Compliance Manager at Outreach, where they successfully executed compliance programs such as SOC2, ISO 27001, Privacy Shield, GDPR, and CCPA.

Earlier in their career, Vijay held positions at DocuSign, ServiceNow, Network Security Systems Plus, San Diego Supercomputer Center, and IBM, where they focused on quality management, compliance, and information security systems. Vijay managed customer audits, achieved and maintained certifications, and played a key role in achieving FISMA Approval to Operate.

Additionally, Vijay worked independently as a Security & Compliance Consultant and served as an Information Security Specialist at Network Security Systems Plus.

Vijay S. has a diverse educational background. Vijay holds a Masters degree in Information Systems Management from Carnegie Mellon University. Prior to that, they obtained a B.A. in Professional Writing and a B.S. in Biological Sciences, both from Carnegie Mellon University as well.

In addition to their academic degrees, Vijay has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2007, they became a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) through ISC. The following year, in 2008, they achieved two certifications: Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) and Certified Information Privacy Professional/Government (CIPP/G), both from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals. In 2009, they obtained the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification from ISACA. Finally, in 2015, Vijay obtained the Certified Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance.
