Catalin Tiseanu

Catalin Tiseanu is a machine learning leader at Coinbase, where they co-founded and have been the tech lead for the machine learning team, overseeing the development of every ML model in production. With a strong background in algorithms and data structures, Catalin has previously worked at notable companies including Twitter, Facebook, Google, and IBM Research, and has participated in prestigious programming contests, winning the Marathon track of the TopCoder Open in 2021. They hold a Research Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Bucharest, and have contributed to both theoretical and practical advancements in the field of machine learning and big data.
