Lucas Matheson

Lucas Matheson, MBA, CFA, is an experienced finance and operations professional with a diverse background across multiple industries. Currently serving as the Country Director for Canada at Coinbase, Lucas previously held several leadership positions at Shopify, including Senior Director of Operations, Senior Director of Corporate FP&A in Acceleration Finance, and Director of Strategic Expansion. As CEO and Co-Founder of Pinshape, Lucas demonstrated entrepreneurial acumen. Earlier career experience includes roles as a Valuation Specialist at Capital Power Corporation and in Investment Operations at Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo). Lucas holds a CFA designation from the CFA Institute and an educational background from the University of Alberta.
