Christie Harkin

Christie Harkin is an accomplished editor and communications consultant with extensive experience in the literary and cryptocurrency sectors. Currently serving as Editor At Large and formerly as Managing Editor of Technology at CoinDesk since June 2020, Christie has a rich background that includes roles as Managing Editor at Bitcoin Magazine and BTCManager. Freelance work includes editing young adult and children's literature, with a focus on diversity and inclusion through positions at Clockwise Press and ChiZine Publications. Notable achievements include acquiring and editing over 50 books at Fitzhenry & Whiteside Publishers, leading to numerous awards and nominations. Christie holds a B.A. in English from the University of Toronto and has additional educational experiences at Havergal College and the G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education at Toronto Metropolitan University.
