Bhavya Agarwal

Bhavya Agarwal is a software engineer with extensive experience in the field. Bhavya began their career in 2011 as a Research Trainee at SenoCAD Research GmbH, where they worked on PET image segmentation for detection of brain tumors. In 2012, they moved to Samsung Electronics, where they worked as a Software Developer on the System and Solutions Team, mainly concerned with the Audio drivers implemented as a part of Linux kernel in Samsung Smartphones. In 2013, they became a Research Assistant at COMPAS (Computer Architecture Lab, Stony Brook University). In 2014, they were a Software Development Intern at Amazon. In 2015, they were a Software Engineer at Microsoft, working as part of the Monitoring and Diagnostics systems team at Azure, responsible for building monitoring systems handling petabytes of data every day. In 2016, they joined Uber as a Senior Software Engineer and later as a Software Developer 2. In 2020, they moved to Robinhood as a Machine Learning Engineer. Most recently, in 2021, they became a Co-Founder at Coinfeeds.

Bhavya Agarwal is currently enrolled at Y Combinator. Previously, they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science from Stony Brook University in 2014. Before that, they obtained a Bachelor in Technology in Communication and Computer Engineering from The L.N.Mittal Institute of Information Technology in 2012.
