Emanuele Gagliano

Emanuele Gagliano has a strong background in the technology industry, specifically in the areas of cyber security and physical security. Emanuele'smost recent position was as a Co-Founder and CTO at Coinnect SA, a cyber security and InsurTech company. In this role, they were responsible for providing services and platforms for cyber risk assessment, mitigation, and incident response. Emanuele also worked with loss adjusters, brokers, and insurance companies to facilitate customer acquisition, cyber risk monitoring, and mitigation.

Prior to their role at Coinnect SA, Gagliano served as the Chief Technology Officer at Lis S.p.A. from 2012 to 2019. In this position, they oversaw the company's technology strategy and execution, leading a software development team. Emanuele'sresponsibilities included defining the company's vision and implementing new applications and services related to physical security, video surveillance, remote monitoring, and IoT. Gagliano also ensured compliance with Italian and international regulations and standards.

Before their time at Lis S.p.A., Gagliano worked at Vodafone Automotive, where they held multiple roles. Emanuele was a Software Development and Quality Manager from 2005 to 2012, leading a team of software developers and coordinating the maintenance and support of software applications. Emanuele also had responsibilities in internal quality assurance, privacy, ISO 9001, and Italian security regulations and standards. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Software Developer at Eurosat (now Vodafone Automotive) from 2002 to 2005. In this role, they were involved in various software development projects, primarily using Java, JavaScript, and C++. These projects included the creation of a control center software for monitoring and managing remote vehicles' security and tracking, a custom ERP/CRM software, and a control center software system for remote monitoring of physical security.

Gagliano's career in the technology industry began with a start-up project from 1999 to 2002. Overall, their work experience demonstrates their expertise in cyber security, physical security, software development, and quality assurance.

Emanuele Gagliano has a strong educational background in computer science and innovation. In 1996, they started pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science at the Università di Pisa, which they successfully completed in 2002. Following this, from 2004 to 2005, they attended MIP Politecnico di Milano to pursue a Master's degree in Innovation.

In addition to their formal education, Emanuele has obtained certifications to further enhance their skill set. In 2005, they obtained a certification as a Process Innovation Manager from IQNet Association. Furthermore, in 2015, they earned the certification of Security Manager from Tecna-sk.
