Aston Khor has been working in the software engineering industry since 2018. In 2018, they started working as a Software Engineer at Digilens Inc., where they used React, Node, PostgreSQL, AWS, Javascript, and Python to develop software for image processing of dithered templates, reducing the time from 25 minutes to 10 seconds, and created a python (pandas) excel scraper to consolidate and import large volumes of data into statistical software JMP. In 2020, they started working at Authentic8 as a Software Engineer, where they developed a chromium fork custom browser, added features such as custom v8 objects, geolocation, and modified devtools, and developed multiple chrome extensions with native-app, content script, and inter-extension communication. Also in 2020, they began working at Hack Reactor as a Software Engineering Mentor, where they taught and mentored 50 junior engineers on computer science fundamentals, data structures/algorithms, software engineering best practices, modern full-stack web development technologies, databases, and app deployment technologies. Finally, in 2021, they began working at CoinTracker as a Software Engineer.

Aston Khor attended UC San Diego from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. Aston then attended Hack Reactor from 2019 to 2020, where they earned a Software Engineering Immersive certification.
