Stuart McGowne

Stuart Mcgowne has extensive experience in the railway and military sectors. Currently serving as a Lineman with Colas Rail UK since December 2019, Stuart focuses on overhead line work, track renewals, and various related tasks. Prior to this role, Stuart worked as a Linesman for TES 2000 Ltd from March 2015 to December 2019, contributing to significant project renewals. Experience also includes a position as an Overhead Linesman with Morgan Sindall Construction & Infrastructure, where Stuart gained foundational skills in the railway environment. Before entering the railway industry, Stuart served as a combat infantryman in the British Army for over a decade, participating in operations in Afghanistan, Iraq, and the Falkland Islands. Educational qualifications include Level 2 certifications in Mathematics and English Literature, as well as several rail and health and safety certifications, demonstrating a strong commitment to professional development.
