Ilyaas Essa

Ilyaas Essa has over 12 years of work experience, starting in 2008 with Unilever. At Unilever, they held various roles including Senior Associate Manager in Supply Chain Procurement and Digital Transformation Lead for the MENA region. Ilyaas also served as a Senior Associate Manager in Global Procurement, focusing on logistics and e-Commerce transformation. Ilyaas worked as an Associate Manager in Category Procurement and as a Supply Chain Management Consultant. Prior to that, they were a Project Manager for Customer Service Excellence and a Business Analyst. In 2020, Ilyaas joined COLAS as the Head of Procurement (MESEA), leading procurement efforts in the Middle East and Southern Africa. Ilyaas is responsible for implementing frameworks, improving processes, and developing a procurement strategy aligned with business goals.
