Sihar Marpaung

Sihar Marpaung currently serves as the Director of Equipment and Workshop Performance at COLAS, focusing on global equipment performance initiatives and strategic investment planning. Previously, Sihar held various leadership roles at Schlumberger from 2006 to 2023, including Head of Manufacturing, Regional Technology Manager, and Global Rapid Response Manager, where expertise in improving manufacturing processes, quality assurance, and technology deployment was demonstrated. Significant achievements include reducing overall costs through a 3-Axis Transformation initiative and developing pioneering technologies such as the world’s first downhole PVT analyzer. Sihar holds a Management Excellence Program certification from Caltech and both M.Eng and B.Eng degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology.
