Cristian Zapata

Cristian Zapata has extensive experience in project management and construction. Cristian currently works at Colas Construction as a Project Manager, a position they have held since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at D.R. Horton as a Project Manager from February 2022 to September 2022. Before entering the construction industry, Cristian worked at Utt Construction, Inc. as an Assistant Project Manager from June 2019 to February 2022. Cristian also gained experience as a Project Administrator at Matt Shaw Concrete, Inc. from June 2019 to January 2022. Their career in project management began at UCSB Conference & Hospitality Services, where they worked as a Reservations & Events Coordinator from March 2018 to June 2019.

Cristian Zapata holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychological and Brain Sciences from UC Santa Barbara. In addition to their educational background, Zapata has obtained several certifications from Procore Technologies as a Project Manager. Cristian is Procore Certified in Core Tools, Project Management, Quality & Safety, Financial Management, and Preconstruction, all obtained in October 2022.
