Lyn Barton

Lyn has been a Councillor for Shrub End since 2006, during which time she has supported resident groups and fought for better facilities and provision of services for all residents. Lyn has a background in education having taught for 26 years. She also qualified as a youth worker and worked for ECC as a training co Ordinator. Lyn is passionate about ensuring young people are given the best opportunities to reach their full potential.

She is currently a Board Member of the Mercury Theatre and Vice Chair of the Planning Committee.
