John Kellett

John Kellett is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business improvement and digital technology across public and private sectors. Currently serving as Business Improvement Manager at Colchester City Council since May 2019, John is responsible for leading teams to enhance processes and systems that improve outcomes for residents and businesses. Key responsibilities include managing Continuous Improvement Projects, Community Engagement, and digitizing core services. Previously, John held various roles at BT from August 2003 to March 2019, culminating in the position of Principal Consultant for the Ultrafast Broadband Delivery Program, where John oversaw critical phases such as requirements gathering, business case development, and technology integration. John holds an MSc in Systems Engineering from the University of Wales, Cardiff, and a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from UWIST.
