John Inglis is a distinguished figure in the field of scientific publishing, recognized for co-founding medRxiv and bioRxiv, two prominent preprint servers for health sciences and biology, respectively. With extensive experience at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory since October 1987, John holds the position of Executive Director and Publisher. Prior experience includes roles as Managing Editor at Elsevier Trends Journals from 1979 to 1987, where John also served as Founding Editor of Immunology Today, and Assistant Editor at The Lancet from 1977 to 1979. John earned a Ph.D. in Autoimmunity from the University of Edinburgh Medical School.
