Koen Vanderhaegen

Koen Vanderhaegen is currently working as a Market Intelligence Project Manager at COLEACP, where Koen is responsible for conducting market studies, monitoring and reporting, as well as coordinating and managing external experts. Prior to this, Koen was a PHD Researcher at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, focusing on the role of agroforestry for ecosystem services and livelihood resilience in the landslide-prone region of Mount Elgon, Uganda. Koen also worked as a Researcher at KU Leuven - KLIMOS, focusing on climate change adaptation and mitigation in development aid, with a case study in Jimma, Ethiopia.
