Robert Jones

Robert Jones has extensive experience in skills competition leadership, partnership management, and student engagement within the education sector. Currently serving as the Skills Competition Lead and Competitions Organising Partner at Coleg Cambria since March 2018, Robert plays a pivotal role in the strategic development and delivery of skills competitions across the UK, collaborating with organizations such as Inspiring Skills Excellence in Wales and WorldSkills UK. Previous roles include a World Skills UK & Student Voice Engagement Officer, a Student Services Advisor, and various positions within Derwen College, where Robert managed student support and involvement initiatives. Additionally, Robert has experience in financial investigations and event coordination from previous roles at Bank of America and Edge Hill University. Educational qualifications include a PGCE in Post-Compulsory Education and Training, a Master's in Language Research, and a Bachelor's in English Language and Linguistics.
