Daniela Soares

Daniela Soares currently serves as the Diretora do Curso com Plano Próprio de Tecnologias da Saúde and Professor at Colégio de Gaia since April 2018. Previously, Daniela worked as a Researcher at Universitat de Barcelona from October 2006 to July 2008, contributing to a project focused on the bioavailability and microbial metabolism of PAHs in relation to marine oil spills. Additionally, Daniela was a Natural Science Teacher for students aged 12 to 14 at Escola E. B. 2,3 de Medas from September 2000 to August 2001. Daniela holds a Master's degree in Microbiology from Universitat de Barcelona, a Master's in Bioenergy from Universidade Nova de Lisboa, and a degree in Biology and Geology from Universidade do Porto. Daniela has also completed a course in Complex Systems at Santa Fe Institute in 2013.
