Mauricio Osses

Mauricio Osses currently serves as the Director de Vinculación con el Medio at Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria since July 2013 and holds an academic position in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, Mauricio Osses has been the President of the Energy Commission at Colegio de Ingenieros de Chile A.G. since October 2020. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Researcher at ISSRC from February 2002 to February 2018, and as the Director Estrategico at Sistemas Sustentables from September 2008 to March 2016. Prior academic roles were held at Universidad de Chile from March 1990 to March 2009. Mauricio Osses earned a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Leeds between 1993 and 1997 and holds a degree as Ingeniero Civil Mecánico from Universidad de Chile, completed between 1984 and 1992.
