Nathan Caplan has a diverse work experience, beginning with their role as a Hebrew Teachers Aide at Temple Israel Center of White Plains in 2011. From 2014-2015, they held the position of Environmental Engineering Intern at CUNY Environmental Crossroads Initiative. In 2015, they were an Ocean Technology Intern at Mote Marine Laboratory. In 2016, they worked as a Temporary Quality Control Associate at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Nathan then worked as a Professional Tutor at Rockland Community College in 2017, and as an Environmental Engineering Technician at Drexel University in the same year. In 2019, they held two roles simultaneously; Public Affairs Analyst Intern at Applecart and Associate Research Scientist at New York University's Coleridge Initiative. Currently, they are a Data Engineer at Coleridge Initiative, and is set to become a Senior Analyst Data Catalog Digital Engineer at Johnson & Johnson in 2022.
Nathan Caplan completed a Bachelor's Degree in Bioengineering from Binghamton University between 2013 and 2016. Following that, they earned a Master's degree in Urban Informatics from NYU Center for Urban Science + Progress in 2018-2019.
