Greg Begaud

Greg Begaud is a partner in the construction and engineering team. He has 30 years' experience in his main areas of practice which are construction, infrastructure, procurement, and energy and resources projects.

Having worked as a lawyer in private practice and as a civil engineer, Greg is able to draw on his deep knowledge of both construction and contract law and the technical and engineering aspects of the construction industry. His extensive experience includes providing strategic advice, tenders, contract drafting, negotiations, dispute resolution, and implementation throughout the construction and operations phases.

Greg works for government and private clients in a broad range of industries, including energy and resources, transport, defence, public infrastructure, IT and property development.

In 2018, Doyle's Guide recommended Greg as a leading Front-End Construction and Infrastructure Lawyer in NSW. In 2020, Doyle's Guide recommended Greg as a recommended Front End Construction, Infrastructure and Major Projects Layer in NSW.

Greg is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia. He joined Colin Biggers & Paisley in 2017.
