Asher Miller is a Policy Specialist at the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning since September 2022, bringing a wealth of experience in education and social justice. Prior roles include Graduate Student at Harvard University Graduate School of Education and Graduate Research Assistant at Harvard's EASEL Lab. Asher has extensive involvement in restorative justice and education, having served as Senior Restorative Justice Specialist at Umoja Student Development Corporation, as well as positions including Upward Bound Specialist and AmeriCorps Public Ally. Early career experiences include roles with Battleground Texas as a Field Organizer and various positions within the Northern Suburban Special Education District. Asher earned a Master of Education in Education Policy Analysis from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Science in English Language and Literature from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
