Rafiqah Mustafaa, Ph.D. has diverse work experience in the fields of research, evaluation, and education. From 2019 to present, they have been working at the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning, starting as a Research Consultant and progressing to roles such as Assistant Director of Evaluation and Assistant Director of Learning and Improvement.
Prior to that, they worked as an Independent Research and Evaluation Consultant at Institution Builders, Inc. from 2016 to 2022.

Rafiqah Mustafaa, Ph.D. obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degrees in Political Science and Sociology from Penn State University, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Education (MEd) in Educational Policy Studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they completed in 2012. Rafiqah then continued their education at the same institution, earning a Ph.D. in Educational Policy Studies from 2012 to 2017.
