Craig M. McDonald, M.D., is director of the Rehabilitation and Training Center in Neuromuscular Diseases at the University of California, Davis, and principal investigator at the UC Davis site of the NeuroNEXT Neurosciences Clinical Trials National Consortium. Dr. Davis is an internationally recognized expert in the clinical management and rehabilitation of neuromuscular diseases including muscular dystrophies. He is also recognized for his work in the development of novel outcome measures for clinical trials. Over the past 12 years, he has received more than $16 million in federal grants and has served on many National Institutes of Health study sections. He consults regularly to drug developers on clinical trials for Duchenne muscular dystrophy treatments.
