Petri Labuschagne

Petri Labuschagne has extensive work experience in various positions within the engineering and management field. Petri started their career at Sasol as a Process Engineer, responsible for the development and maintenance of control solutions. Petri then progressed to become a Production Manager, overseeing a team and managing the operation of gasifiers and associated systems.

After working at Sasol, Petri joined Proconics as a Senior Project Manager, where they were responsible for managing engineering, procurement, and construction projects for multinational companies. Petri also designed project management processes, led technical teams, and ensured high-quality standards were met.

Currently, Petri is the Chief Operating Officer at Collaborit Asset Management Engineering, where they play a crucial role in the operational management of the company.

Petri Labuschagne began their education journey in 2002 when they enrolled at the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. Petri successfully completed their studies in 2006.

In 2007, Petri continued their academic pursuits at the same university and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Process Control in 2008.

After gaining industry experience, Petri decided to further enhance their knowledge and skills by pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Petri attended Henley Business School from 2019 to 2021, specializing in Business Administration and Management.

In addition to their academic achievements, Petri also obtained professional certifications. Petri became a Professional Engineer certified by the Engineering Counsel of South Africa in December 2016. Furthermore, in April 2015, they obtained the Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
