Emily Damato

Emily Damato is an accomplished professional in the field of software engineering and artificial intelligence, currently serving as the Founding AI Engineer at Collate since April 2025, where the focus is on building AI solutions for the life sciences sector. Prior to this role, Emily co-founded and served as CEO at Mantle, which was acquired by Collate. Experience also includes significant positions at Betteromics, ArsenalBio, and GRAIL, Inc., where expertise in machine learning, computational biology, and cloud infrastructure was developed. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Molecular Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, along with participation in Y Combinator's program in 2023.
