Robert (Bob) Peterson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and leadership roles. Robert (Bob) is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at CollateralEdge, a company that provides collateral solutions for banks. In this role, their responsibilities include driving operational scalability and delivering excellent solutions for bank customers.
Prior to their current role, they founded Park Square Partners, LLC, where they worked as a consultant, specializing in optimized business models and organizational transformation. Robert (Bob) collaborated with ownership to restructure MDB Capital Holdings' Public Venture subsidiary, resulting in profitable operations.
Bob also served as the President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Hilltop Securities Inc., where they directed business operations, strategic planning, and annual budgeting during a period of major growth and merger integration. Robert (Bob) led a team of 1,100 and fostered a culture of high performance.
Before joining Hilltop Securities, Bob founded Park Square Partners, LLC and worked closely with Hilltop Holdings on due diligence for the SWS Group acquisition. Robert (Bob) also held the position of Head of Corporate Strategy and Senior Vice President at JCPenney, where they led strategy and business development efforts during a company-wide transformation.
Earlier in their career, Bob worked at Piper Sandler, where they held various leadership roles, including Global Head of Equities, Head of Private Client Services (Wealth Management), and Head of Investment Research. Robert (Bob) successfully led the global equities business, oversaw the transformation of the wealth management division, and earned recognition for their research analysis.
Bob began their career as a Senior Consultant at Accenture.
Robert (Bob) Peterson has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with an emphasis in Financial Management from the University of St. Thomas. In 1993, they obtained certifications for Series 7, 63, 24, and 55 from FINRA. Furthermore, in 2018, they completed the Securities Industry Institute sponsored by SIFMA at Wharton Executive Education.
