John Myrda

John Myrda has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. John worked at Collective Health as a Software Engineer, where they designed and built ETL pipelines, developed Spring Boot Java Microservices, and integrated monitoring using Prometheus and Grafana. John also worked as a Software Engineer In Test at the same company, building and extending testing frameworks and practicing Test Driven Design. Prior to that, John worked at Cloudmark as a Software Development Engineer in Test. John also had a role at Wells Fargo as an Automated Regression Analyst, where they architect web tools, built RESTful APIs, and analyzed failures of automated Selenium tests. Before entering the tech industry, John worked at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as a Linux Working Group Specialist, Assistant IT Specialist, and Student IT Worker. In these roles, they provided user support for Linux systems, maintained and upgraded computers, managed a Help Desk team, and performed computer hardware repairs.

John Myrda received a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Physics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied from 2008 to 2012.
