Mark Cowell

Mark Cowell, MBA has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Mark currently holds the position of Director, Pricing and Underwriting at Collective Health since November 2022. Prior to this, they had a long tenure at Delta Dental of California, where they served in various roles. Mark was an Underwriting Manager from 2013 to 2022, an Actuary from 2010 to 2013, and a Senior Underwriter from 2006 to 2010. Mark began their career as an Actuarial Analyst at Actuarial Management Corporation in 2003.

Mark Cowell, MBA, holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Analytics from Saint Mary's College of California, which they obtained from 2019 to 2021. Prior to their MBA, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Mathematics from the University of Connecticut between 2000 and 2002. In addition to their formal education, Mark Cowell has also obtained additional certifications, such as Advanced Google Analytics from Google Analytics Academy in February 2021 and the Society of Actuaries - Exam P certification in 2005.
