Christopher Spong has a diverse work experience in the field of social media and communications. Christopher started their career as an intern at The Italian Cultural Center of Minneapolis in 2009. In 2010, they worked as an intern at Weber Shandwick, where they focused on social media tracking for Amway and tracking soldier bloggers on the Armystrongstories.com blog. After that, they served as Vice President at Sigma Chi Fraternity before joining MN Air National Guard Foundation & Museum as a Volunteer Marketing Communications Manager, where they promoted the organization's 90th Anniversary Celebration & Reunion. In 2011, they founded Twin Cities Social Scene and also worked as a Social Media Account Coordinator at Lola Red. From 2012 to 2013, Christopher was a Platform Expert at Target, responsible for managing the company's Twitter, Instagram, and Vine accounts. Christopher then joined Mithun Agency as a Community Manager before becoming an Advisory Board Member at Goldstein Museum Of Design from 2013 to 2015. Most recently, Christopher has been associated with Collective Measures | Performance Marketing, where they have held various roles such as Digital Content Planner, Senior Digital Content Planner, Digital Content + Marketing Manager, Sr. Content + Marketing Manager, Supervisor of Social Media + Communications, and currently, the Associate Director of Social Media + Communications.

Christopher Spong received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Strategic Communications from the University of Minnesota, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Christopher also obtained certifications in Google Analytics from Google in January 2015, and in comScore Certified Expert - MyMetrix from comScore, Inc. in 2015.
