Katie Marty has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Katie started their career as a Research Intern at the Cornucopia Institute in 2011. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Homesale Support Specialist at Plus Relocation Services, where they provided support to Homesale Counselors and coordinated the selling process for relocating employees.

In 2007, Katie worked as a Banquet Server at Lafayette Club. In 2010, they founded Aynah, an organization that provides cooperative education to students through trainings and experiential learning trips. As the Executive Director, they led Aynah through its legal formation, organizational development, program expansion, and fundraising efforts. Their responsibilities included project management, program development, strategic visioning, volunteer engagement, marketing, and staff management.

From 2015 to 2023, Katie served as the Community and Event Coordinator at Mississippi Market Natural Foods Co-op. In this role, they managed the education program, planned and executed events, represented the company at community events, administered community donation programs, and coordinated member-services initiatives.

Katie's most recent position is as the Cooperative Director & Consultant at Collectivity, where they started in 2023.

Katie Marty completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Management and Spanish from Luther College from 2007 to 2011. Before attending college, they attended Minnetonka High School from 2003 to 2007.
