Kevin Schap

Kevin Schap is an experienced professional in clinical informatics and IT support, currently serving as the Director of Clinical Informatics Initiatives at the College of American Pathologists (CAP) since May 2012. Kevin has held multiple roles within CAP, including Senior Manager and Manager of AI and Data Standards Initiatives, as well as Desktop Level III Support Analyst. Prior to joining CAP, Kevin worked as an IT Coordinator at the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater, where a new website for the Graduate Business Resource Center was developed. Kevin began a career at CAP as a Computer Technician, successfully deploying 1,000 workstations. Additionally, Kevin served as a Resident Assistant during studies at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, providing advising and programming for undergraduate students. Kevin earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Infrastructure and Operations Management from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and furthered education at the University of Chicago.
