Mark Evans

Mark Evans, CISSP, is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in various roles at the College of American Pathologists since July 2009, currently serving as Senior Cyber Security Specialist. Responsibilities include leading application security initiatives, managing cybersecurity programs, overseeing security projects, and conducting incident response activities. Prior to this, Mark held numerous positions at Hewitt Associates, including Lead Information Security Analyst, focusing on access provisioning and security process improvements. Mark's career also includes technical positions at Uline, Libertyville Fire Department, and Cyber Exchange, showcasing a diverse skill set in cybersecurity, IT support, and emergency services. Mark is actively pursuing cybersecurity certification through ISC2 and holds ongoing education in Information Systems from the College of Lake County.
