Helen Taraskin

Helen Taraskin is a finance officer at the College of Applied Biology. Helen has over eight years of experience in accounting and payroll. Prior to their current position, Helen worked as an accounting assistant at Zynik Capital and a payroll officer at Myasnoy Dvor CJSC. In their current role, Helen is responsible for bookkeeping, preparing budgets and financial reports, and administering accounts payable and receivable.

Helen Taraskin has a certificate in payroll compliance from the Canadian Payroll Association. Helen also has a post-baccalaureate diploma in commerce and accounting from Thompson Rivers University. Additionally, they have a bachelor's degree in social psychology from Primorsky Jobs. Currently, they are a student at Camosun College studying accounting.

Helen Taraskin reports to Christine Houghton, CEO. They are on a team with Tory Davis - Executive Operations-Communications Officer, Mike Engelsjord - Director of Practice, and Shona Lawson - Registrar & Director of Compliance.
