Danny Johnson

Danny Johnson, MPA, currently serves as the Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Academic Magnet High School since June 2025. Simultaneously, Danny has been the Recreation Sponsorship Coordinator for the Town of Mount Pleasant since February 2016, focusing on developing sponsorship opportunities and managing relationships with local businesses. Additionally, Danny operates as the CEO and Owner of Ecoharmony Distribution, LLC, which provides environmentally friendly solutions in compliance with EPA guidelines. Experience also includes serving as the College of Charleston's Men’s Basketball Color Analyst for the Cougar Sports Network. Previously, Danny played professional basketball across the U.S. from 1999 to 2010. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Sociology from the College of Charleston.
