John Douglas

John Douglas is an accomplished fundraising professional with extensive experience in major gift development and institutional advancement. Currently serving as the Senior Development Officer at the College of Charleston, Douglas is responsible for cultivating donor relationships to support the College’s Honors College and Libraries. Previous roles include Director of Foundation Relations and Assistant Development Director at Northern Arizona University, where efforts focused on enhancing the university's profile with major foundations. Douglas has also held managerial positions at the National Children's Alliance and the American Diabetes Association, demonstrating a strong background in corporate and individual giving, partnership development, and strategic philanthropy throughout a diverse career in the nonprofit sector. Douglas holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Presbyterian College.
