Tom Martin is an accomplished communications professional and educator with extensive experience in mentorship and leadership. As the Founder of the Martin Center for Mentorship in Communication since March 2023, Martin aims to cultivate future leaders among communication students and bridge gaps between academia and professional practice. Martin serves as Executive-in-Residence at the College of Charleston, collaborating with students and faculty to strengthen ties with the business community while enhancing student career transitions. Additionally, Martin has held significant roles such as Co-Chair of the Professional Development Committee for the Arthur W. Page Society, where previous leadership included a presidential term in 2004-2005, and as a Senior Counselor at PulsePoint Group, providing strategic consultation to Fortune 50 companies. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Vanderbilt University.
