Jim Jernigan

Jim Jernigan is an experienced Environmental Health Safety Specialist currently working at the College of Eastern Idaho since July 2022. Prior to this role, Jim served as Safety and Training Program Coordinator for the City of Idaho Falls and held various positions at the College of Eastern Idaho, including Environmental, Safety, and Health Instructor. With a strong background in training and safety administration from KGHM International and Thompson Creek Metals Company, Jim has designed and implemented comprehensive training programs and managed significant personnel and budgets. Jim's educational credentials include a Master of Science in Management and Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Business - Human Resource Management from Western Governors University, along with several pertinent certifications in health and safety.
