Aden Hamza is a skilled nursing professional with extensive experience in policy analysis and healthcare education. Currently serving as a Policy Analyst at the College of Nurses of Ontario since July 2023, Aden previously held the position of Policy Advisor at the Canadian Nurses Association from December 2018 to July 2023. Aden's clinical background includes work as a Registered Nurse at the London Health Sciences Centre, with responsibilities in General Surgery and the Emergency Department from June 2011 to December 2018. In addition to practical nursing experience, Aden has contributed to academia as a Teaching Assistant and Lecturer at Western University, facilitating the learning of nursing ethics, health assessments, and community health concepts. Aden holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Western University and completed a specialized course in Global Policy and Governance at Duke University.
